You swept me off my feet
With your good looks charm and grace.
You looked across the room
And your smile made my heart race.

We danced into the night
Like kids newly in love.
We had something very special
You were my gift from high above.

You were my knight in shining armour
You were the love I needed most.
You were so gentle and so kind
But our love I did not want to boast.

You have always made me feel special.

You have been my guardian angel
My true love, a friend I hold so dear.

I don’t want to say goodbye
But I know the time has come.
For you to leave this earth
And go and take care of my mum.

My world, my soul, my friend.

And sometimes course to cry.
But now I know my handsome angel
I must give you permission to fly.
