For months we had waited,
Until the first sign of snow.
The excitement it was high,
While the temperature was low.
It came the day to leave,
And we piled on the bus.
After only a few hours,
There was the first sign of fuss.
For although the seats were comfy,
They were only made for two.
Too sit upright and talk,
Which meant no sleep for me and you.
It took over forty hours,
To finally reach the peak.
But boy when we got there,
Our skiing it was sleek.
We flew through the air,
And glided along the sleet.
The snow it was soft,
And sunk under our feet.
The best day of all,
Was when we walked out of the door.
And there right in front of us,
Was a glistening snowfall.
Frosty came to life,
And the snowballs they were hard.
But it was flying over jumps,
When the real show-offs stared.
Although the highlight of the trip,
Were the friendships that were made.
We had a lot of fun,
Whilst in the snow we played.
It will always be remembered,
By those who came along.
As an everlasting memory,
Of friendships, thrills, spills and song.
